Lwagula Memorial Primary School is located in Kampala District, Makindye Division, Luwafu parish, Nakinyuguzi Division off Salama-Munyonyo Road. It's Pre-Primary (two-year) and Primary school (seven-year) with an enrolment of 446 pupils.
The school opened in May of 1994 in a rented house on Latima Kigozi Road off Makindye- Munyonyo Road where it started as an Infant School with 10 children and 6 teachers. It graduated its first Primary leaving class in 1997. It shifted to its current location in 2000 and It has since graduated about 600 pupils into Secondary school. Lwagula Memorial Primary School is recognized and registered by the Ministry of Sports and Education (Registration: PPS/L/23 Exam Center Number: 003256 (EMIS)).
It is a member of the Kampala Private schools Association. Kampala Primary School Head Teacher's association Makindye Division Primary Schools Association. The school is named after the proprietor's Great grandfather Lwagula who gained influence and chieftaincy status through attributes hard work, self-sacrifice and service.

Houses
To facilitate extracurricular activities the school is organized along houses.
These are;
1. Kabalega house
2. Muteesa house
3. Oyo house
Families
To enable a dedicated space to understand the child's contexts outside class that may impact on the child's performance and wellbeing, the school also is organized in "families".
A group of teachers parent a given group of pupils. In the families social and personal circumstances are discussed and handled.
These families create a bond between the pupils and the teachers which helps to build confidence among the pupils.

Entry into the school involves written and oral interviews. There is no required proficiency rate. The score guides on recommending entry class placement.
